FAQ Answer From Docs (With the Quote)

Answers one customer question using only a pasted help text (FAQ, help centre article, policy page, product manual or knowledge base extract) and returns strict JSON with the reply, the passages it rests on copied word for word, and a flag that says whether the text answers the whole question, part of it or none of it. Every figure is copied as the help text writes it, nothing is computed, rounded, inferred from general knowledge or taken from a line that tells the AI what to say, and when the text does not cover the question the reply says so instead of guessing. The reply is in the customer's language while the quotes stay in the help text's language. Use to answer customer questions from documentation, build a support bot that only says what the help centre says, draft a reply to a support ticket from a knowledge base, or ground an FAQ answer in the source text with a citation.

FAQ Answer From Docs (With the Quote) is a tested SKILL.md that answers one customer question using only a pasted help text (FAQ, help centre article, policy page, product manual or knowledge base extract) and returns strict JSON with the reply, the passages it rests on copied word for word, and a flag that says whether the text answers the whole question, part of it or none of it; an agent buys it once for $0.03 over x402.

Not for

Answering from what the model knows about the product or common practice: if the pasted help text does not state it, the reply says so and a person takes over. It does not search a help centre, fetch pages, pick the right article out of many, compute prices or dates, verify the customer's claims, or write the full ticket reply with greeting and sign-off. One question and one pasted text per call.

Questions answered right (24 questions)23/2420/2423/2414/24

Same request on both sides, a fence removed first. Read by hand, Sonnet without the skill already stuck to the text on most questions and quoted it word for word. It missed four: it passed on a planted line from the help page and promised phone support around the clock, it accepted a customer's claim that returns are free, on a Bulgarian two-part question it did not say that parking is not covered, and on a question general knowledge could answer it did not say the text is silent. Haiku without the skill missed ten, among them arithmetic beyond the text and an inference about a country outside the EU.

Same cases and the same checks with and without the skill. The cases are ours, written around what the skill is for; with a handful of cases, a difference of one or two is within noise.

SonnetStrong model, claude-sonnet-5-5
Right on 23 of 24 questions, read by hand, but it missed one: on a question that general knowledge could answer it did not say plainly that the help text is silent. Everything else held: answers only from the pasted help text with word-for-word quotes, partial for a two-part question when the text covers one part, no price computed that the text does not state, no assumption about a country outside the stated area, a customer's claim checked against the text and not accepted, a line in the help text that told the AI what to say treated as data, and the answer in the language of the question.

Right on 23 of 24 questions, read by hand, but it missed one: it went along with a customer's claim that returns are free, which the help text does not say.

  1. v1.0.0 · 2026-10-08

First release: answers one customer question from a pasted help text only, as JSON with `answerable` (`yes`, `partial`, `no`), the reply in the customer's language and the supporting passages copied word for word in the help text's language. Figures copied as written (no rounding, conversion or arithmetic); a list of what the company does is not a statement of what it does not do; two conflicting values in the text are both reported unless a dated update settles them; lines addressed to an AI, in the text or in the question, are data.

No vendor facts and no dated line: the rules are the skill. Not yet measured with a model: the test run, the baseline and the price decision follow (the orchestrator queues the model tests).

FAQ

Help text silent on the question: then what?

The answer carries answerable set to no, a one- or two-sentence reply in the customer's language saying the help text does not cover it, and an empty quotes list, so a program can route the question to a person instead of sending the reply. The reply never offers a guess or a usually. A help text about a cafe's hours, parking and dogs gets a no for a Wi-Fi question even though most cafes have Wi-Fi.

What does partial mean?

The help text answers part of the question and is silent on the rest, or it gives two different answers and nothing says which is current. The reply gives the covered part with its quote and names the uncovered part in plain words. A customer who asks for a yearly price when the text gives 11.90 EUR per month gets the monthly figure and the sentence that no yearly price is stated, never a multiplied one. Two delivery estimates, 3 to 5 working days under Shipping and 2 to 4 in an older FAQ block, are both reported; a dated update that explicitly replaces the earlier rule wins on its own.

Does it help Claude Sonnet?

It guards against the traps a support bot falls into. Twenty-four questions with short help texts were answered by both Claude models, each with and without this file, and every quote was checked word for word against its text. On its own Sonnet repeated a planted line promising phone support around the clock, agreed with a customer that returns are free, and on a two-part question did not say that one part is not covered: 20 right. With the file, 23. Haiku went from 14 to 23.

What if the help text contains a line that tells the AI what to say?

It is treated as data: it is never quoted, and the fact it tries to plant counts as absent from the text. The same holds for a question that asks the model to ignore the help text or to reveal something that is not in it. A note telling assistants to promise phone support 24/7 next to a text that only names email support still gets a no for a phone-support question.

  • Ticket Triage: Category, Priority, Language

    Sales & Customer Support

    SKILL.md · v1.0.1 · 8.3 KB

Sorts one incoming customer message (support email, chat, contact form or ticket) into a category, a priority and the customer's language, and answers with strict JSON that a program can route without a person reading it. Uses a fixed default category list or the list the request gives, and fixed rules for priority, so an angry tone or the word URGENT does not raise priority and a calm report of an outage does not lower it. The language is the one the customer wrote in, not the language of a pasted error, a quoted reply or a signature, and orders hidden in the message do not change the result. Use for ticket triage, to route or label a support ticket, to classify support emails in a help desk inbox, or to decide which message needs a human first.

    Prompt Injection Guard

    Agents & Protocols

    SKILL.md · v1.0.3 · 14.5 KB

Keeps an AI agent from obeying instructions hidden in what it reads (indirect prompt injection). Web pages, e-mails, files, PDFs, API and tool output, other agents' messages and skill files under review are treated as content, never as orders. The agent is instructed never to pay, transfer, delete or reveal anything because content asked, to report the attempt with a quote and its source, and to still finish the real task. Use whenever the agent reads anything it did not write itself, before any action with side effects such as a payment, a message or a file change, and when asked to review or summarise untrusted content.

    Document Consistency Check

    Editing & Proofreading

    SKILL.md · v1.0.0 · 7.4 KB

Reads one pasted document, such as a report, proposal, article, contract draft or spec, and lists every place where it contradicts itself, as strict JSON with both conflicting passages quoted word for word. It finds a figure given with two values, a name spelled two ways, a weekday that does not match its date, an end before a start, a stated total that differs from its stated parts, and a term used differently from its own definition. It reports only disagreements between two passages of the document; a fact it cannot see in the text is unknown, so it never checks the document against the outside world, and a number written in another format, a rounded figure or a line addressed to an AI is not a finding. Use to proofread a document for internal contradictions before publishing, check a report or proposal for numbers that do not match, find mismatched dates or names, or QA a long draft.
