Terms of sale

One product: the file of a skill (SKILL.md) together with its license. It is a text file. Nothing runs on our side, and no service, account or support contract comes with it.

The license, as printed in every file and receipt: “Perpetual, non-exclusive; use and modify for yourself incl. paid work; no resale or republishing”. License holder: Georgi Kalchev, aiskills402.com. The full text is at /docs#license.

• The price in the 402 response is the price. A request for a file without payment is answered with 402 Payment Required and the exact amount. That amount is what you authorize. A price shown on a web page or in a list comes from the same API, but if they ever differ, the 402 response wins.
• USDC on Base mainnet, paid once per skill, over the x402 protocol. The gas fee is paid by the payment facilitator, not by you.
• Payment is final. A settled payment is an on-chain transfer that we cannot reverse, so there are no refunds. Read the skill card and the test results before you sign.
• When nothing is charged. If the facilitator refuses the payment, nothing is charged. While the store is closed, the 402 response carries selling: false and a “do not sign” notice; do not sign then. The current state is on the status page.
• When the outcome is unknown. If we cannot confirm whether a payment settled, you still receive the file, and we reconcile by hand.

The file is in the response to your paid request, together with a redownload token. The token is shown once, and we store only a hash of it, so we cannot show it to you again. Keep it.

With the token you can download the file again, free, at GET /v1/purchases/<token>. The token belongs to the skill, not to one version: it returns the current version, so you get new versions of the same skill free. It does not cover other skills. Fair-use rate limits apply to the API.

A skill file is provided as is. We test every skill on a strong and a weak model and publish the verdicts at /skills/<slug>/tests, including where the weak model fails. That page is the whole of what we state about a skill's behaviour. Beyond it we give no warranty that the file suits your purpose, that any model will follow it, or that its output is correct.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for a file is limited to the price you paid for it. The facts above about what we check, and do not check, are on the about page.

• Follow the license: use and modify the file for yourself, including in paid work. Do not resell it, and do not republish it, whole or in part.
• Do not try to obtain a file without paying, to bypass the payment check, or to overload the API. Automated clients are welcome; abusive ones may be rate-limited or blocked.
• You, or whoever runs your agent, are responsible for what your wallet signs. An authorization signed by your agent is a purchase.
• Do not use a skill to break the law or to harm other people.

We may change these terms or the list of skills and their prices. A change applies to purchases made after the date at the top of this page. Your right to re-download a file you already bought does not change.
